The Goal of our Pursuit

Branch of our Tree: Pursuit
PURSUIT: What values drive our actions?
We view serving others as our most important role as followers of Jesus.

Moving from Self-preservation to Serving

Part 4 of Pursuit

THE GOAL:Understand our call to be servants, not leaders.
    1. Ahead: Jesus was the example, in the sense that he showed the way, but didn’t use the language of  leadership.
    2. With: Jesus was not a leader that welded power and authority over others.
    3. Under: Though Jesus had infinite power but he laid it down to serve and come under people instead of rule over people.
